There’s actually room now. Mint kit, bonnet goes up to till the hinges top out, if you’re short and your cars tall you might need a tag or something to pull it down 😅. Only complaint is the struts are just longer than the mounting points and they’re FU####G Stiff. Ended up using a Small endless strap to compress them to fit worked mint. Don’t try levering or fighting them, it’ll hurt.

Bolts up super easy, starts assisting to lift bonnet real early in the action and opens the bonnet considerably higher than standard strut allowing for better access.
I had to modify ARB 2nd battery tray slightly to give room for gas strut when closed.
All in all very satisfied with purchase.
