ENGINE INTERNALS AND ELECTRICAL PARTS

THE PARTS YOU NEED WHEN A REBUILD IS ON THE CARDS

Plenty of 70 Series engines have crossed the 400,000km mark and are still running, but every engine eventually needs internal work. Head gasket failures on the 1HZ, injector wear on the 1VD-FTV V8, timing chain replacements, and ancillary electrical components that finally give up after two decades of dust and vibration. The engine internal and electrical parts in this collection cover what gets replaced during a rebuild or major service. Sensors, injectors, glow plugs, gaskets, seals, timing components, oil pumps, and the electrical accessories that hang off the engine bay loom.

OEM AND HIGH PERFORMANCE OPTIONS

Internal parts come in OEM-spec for like-for-like replacement, and in upgraded forms where the factory part is a known wear item. Head gaskets are MLS or composite depending on the engine specification. Timing chains, gears, and tensioners are rated to the original specification or higher. Injectors are remanufactured to OEM standards or supplied as new units. Glow plugs are matched to the specific diesel engine code. Sensors and electrical ancillary components are OEM or quality aftermarket equivalents tested against the original Toyota factory specifications.

FITS 1HZ, 1VD-FTV V8, 1GD-FTV 2.8L, 1HD-FTE, 2H

Engine internal parts are matched to the specific engine code because the 70 Series has used at least five different engines across its life. The 1HZ and 2H on the older HZJ, the 1HD-FTE turbo diesel, the 1VD-FTV V8 from 2007 to 2023, and the 1GD-FTV 2.8L from 2024 onward all use different internal components. Each listing in this collection confirms engine code, year range, and any specific variant fitment (manual or auto transmission, single or twin alternator) before you order.
