EARLY VDJ V8 BONNET FITMENT

The 2007 to 2016 70 Series ran the early VDJ V8 era, with a new bonnet shape introduced alongside the 1VD-FTV V8 engine. The bonnet contour is different to both the pre-2007 HZJ era and the 2016 onwards refresh that introduced a slightly updated front clip. The protectors in this collection are moulded specifically for that nine-year production window so the fit at the leading edge, the headlight cutouts, and the indicator mounting points sits flush against the panel without gaps or whistle.

TINTED ACRYLIC THAT LOOKS RIGHT WITH THE V8 FRONT END

Made from impact-modified UV-stabilised acrylic with a dark tinted finish. The tint complements the chrome and black grille options that came factory on the V8 era and works well with aftermarket gloss black or mesh grille upgrades. UV stabilisation keeps the protector from going cloudy or brittle through years of Aussie sun. The mould pattern matches the 2007 to 2016 bonnet contour for a flush fit with no gaps or vibration. Installation uses supplied hardware with no drilling into the bonnet skin, and removal is clean if the vehicle ever returns to fully stock condition.
