70 Series Bonnet Protector & Bonnet Guard

Shield Your Bonnet From Stone Chips and Road Debris

A 70 Series bonnet protector deflects stones, gravel, bug splatter and road debris up and over the windscreen before they reach the paint. The bonnet sits flat and wide at the very front of the vehicle, where it cops the full force of whatever the tyres and other vehicles throw up at highway speed. Every stone chip that gets through cracks the clear coat, exposes bare metal and starts the rust clock on a 4WD that spends real time on unsealed roads. A tinted Landcruiser bonnet protector — also called a bonnet guard — is one of the cheapest forms of paint insurance you can fit to the front end.

Tinted Acrylic That Looks the Part

Our 70 Series bonnet guards are moulded from tough, impact-modified acrylic with a dark tinted finish that gives the front end a clean, aggressive look. The tint hides bug splatter, dust and minor surface marks between washes far better than a clear protector, and the UV-stabilised acrylic resists cracking, fading and going brittle in the harsh Australian sun. Each protector is precision moulded to match the exact bonnet contour of the model it fits, sitting flush with no gaps or vibration. The 2024 facelift is also available in matte black for the blacked-out look.

A Protector for Every Era of the 70 Series

Toyota changed the 70 Series bonnet shape across the model's long life, so the right protector is the era-specific one. This range spans the original 1984-1999 short-front clip (HJ75, HZJ75 and FZJ75 utes and Troopys, also 73, 74 and Bundera), the 1999-2007 pre-V8 era, the 2007-2016 and 2016-2023 V8 models, and the 2024 facelift front clip.
